KD-XHTZ Series Multi-tap Arc Suppressing Line Selection System

With neutral grounding via an arc suppression coil, the transient single-phase earth faults can be accurately identified to quickly enter and exit the offset mode. For non-instantaneous single-phase earth faults, the grounded lines can be accurately determined according to the set time to eliminate failed lines and improve the power supply reliability of the grid.

   

Technology Overview:
Our KD-XHTZ multi-tap arc suppression coil apparatus with automatic follow compensation contains the secondary paralleled damping resistor and perfect secondary protection technologies and is equipped with an advanced single-phase earth fault detector. It can perform real-time tracking of the grid capacitive current and rapid compensation of transient single-phase earth faults for troubleshooting. Moreover, it can also rapidly (less than 10s) identify non-instantaneous single-phase earth faults and trips (optional), and operate continuously under the grounding mode of conventional arc suppression coils. The secondary paralleled damping resistor technology applied in such apparatus avoids the easy burn-out case of the primary series resistor due to poor operating conditions. With higher safety and reliability, it proves to be an excellent automatic compensation apparatus of the grid neutral point.

7. Communication protocol: standard MDOBUS and CDT communication protocols;

AC: 220 V ± 10%, 50 HZ
DC: 220 V ± 10% or 110 V ± 10% (to be specified when ordering);

Technological Advantages:
1. In this apparatus, the high-speed digital signal processor (DSP) is used as its control unit. The operating parameters of the system are visible on the large LCD and Chinese graphical operation interface.
2. For such apparatus, the application of new technologies, such as auto-tuning of secondary paralleled damping resistors, paralleled arc suppression coils for automatic tracking and measurement of capacitive current, and earth fault oscillographs, eliminates many technological difficulties, including multi-unit parallel operation and real-time measurement of capacitive current.
3. The small-perturbation line selection approach ensures the high accuracy in line selection, short perturbation time and less impact on the system.
